What IS THE Chris Grady foundation?

On September 11, 2001 a terrible tragedy struck not only the United States, but the world. This tragedy took a very personal turn at the Legacy for Life headquarters when the staff was informed that we had lost one of our own Distributors.  Husband, father, son, friend …Distributor Christopher Grady perished during the attack on the World Trade Centers.

Like everyone, the employees and management of Legacy for Life wanted to help those suffering from that terrible tragedy.  This goal was accomplished with the help of Legacy for Life Distributors.  With their compassion and drive we were able to raise $15,000 for the children of Chris Grady.  Furthermore, we realized the tremendous force of compassion and drive that made up the Legacy for Life Distributors; it was this knowledge that brought forth the birth of the Chris Grady Memorial Foundation.  The Foundation was officially formed in February 2002

OUR MISSION

Our mission at the Chris Grady Memorial Foundation is twofold, to assist our Distributors in times of trouble and to provide nutritional health and wellness products to those in need.

·        Distributors that have or are encountering a catastrophic event in their life can call on the Foundation for financial assistance.

·        Individuals or groups in need of nutritional health and wellness products can be provided assistance.

  HOW ARE we going to accomplish our goals?

The Chris Grady Memorial Foundation will accomplish its goals with the support of Distributors such as you!  With your donations the Chris Grady Memorial Foundation will accomplish its goals through the use of 2 funds:  the “Helping Hands Fund” and the “Distributor Sponsorship Fund”.

"Helping Hands Fund"

Distributors who wish to donate cash to the Chris Grady Memorial Foundation will be supporting the “Helping Hands Fund”.  Every dollar that is received in this fund will be strictly allocated to Distributors and their families during times of crisis.

"Distributor sponsorship fund"

Distributors who wish to donate Legacy for Life health and wellness products to the Chris Grady Memorial Foundation will be supporting the “Distributor Sponsorship Fund”.  This fund will be allocated to individuals and groups who have been sponsored by a Legacy for Life Distributor and who are in need of nutritional health and wellness products.

 

How do I sponsor an individual or group?

Once a Distributor has donated product to the Foundation he or she will be eligible to sponsor an individual or group in need.  All grants from the “Distributor Sponsorship Fund” will be awarded to an individual or group that is sponsored by a Legacy for Life Distributor.   In essence, the Foundation will act as the distribution arm for the nutritional health and wellness products that the Foundation has received through donations.

How do I Donate?

The donation/grant process is as easy as calling 1-800-557-8477.

Once a donation has been made, the Foundation will build up the appropriate fund until a need for disbursement arises.  The Foundation will examine each request, assuring that awards are granted from the appropriate funds.
